About me

Profile picture of Addi

Hi, I’m Addi (she/they).

I’m a queer, non-binary, pagan coach, writer, teacher, monk, and CEO. I was born in the United States and lived there through my 30s. I immigrated to Denmark in 2011, where I’ve settled with my Danish wife.

I spend a lot of my time reading and being out in nature in one way or another. I dabble with linocut printing and painting, enjoy gardening and foraging, and have a deeply contemplative practice. I write every day in some form, and I have one (non-fiction, technical) book that has been traditionally published.

Community, connection, and self-reflection are very important to me and I try to live in ways that encourage and support that in myself and others. My main values are Compassion, Courage, Connection, and Integrity.

I have a particular interest in helping others find their own paths, which has led me to becoming a certified coach and creating leadership training programs.

My spiritual life has followed a perhaps not very uncommon path. I was raised Presbyterian, which I took very seriously until the age of 20. Disillusioned with Christianity, I left the church and became a staunch atheist. I dabbled in Buddhism and other meditative practices for many years. Late in life I found Druidry as a community who shared my reverence for nature. Through the practices of Druidry I found a spiritual core under my love of being amongst the trees. I’m a member of both the Ancient Order of Druids in America (AODA) and the Order of Bards, Ovates, and Druids (OBOD). In addition, I’m a monk in the Gnostic Celtic Church Monastery (which is part of AODA). Another dimension of my spirituality is through shamanic practice in the wider community of the Scandinavian Center for Shamanic Studies.

I’m also the CEO at Osio Labs, which is a small open source tech education company.
